Exhibition of the “BEMAC-DPS” Automatic Ship Positioning System Simulator

DPS is a computer-controlled system that automatically maintains a vessel’s position and heading using propellers and thrusters for precise station-keeping. At this trade show, visitors can experience manual ship handling with a 3-axis joystick and automated position/heading control using the state-of-the-art BEMAC-DPS simulator. By projecting footage simulating the operating area onto a large monitor in sync with the simulator, attendees can enjoy an even more realistic DPS operation experience.
